Given data
solute = 15 mole
solvent = 30 mole
To Find
mole fraction = ?
Solution
We will get the mole fraction using the formula listed above.
Mole Fraction = Moles of solute / (Moles of solute + Moles of solvent)
Putting the values, in the above equation we have
Mole Fraction = 15 / (15 + 30) = 0.333 mole
