# Arithmetic Sequence Definition

An **arithmetic sequence** is a type of **sequence in which the interval among all consecutive term** is **consistent/constant**. The explicit formula to determine the arithmetic sequence is a_{n} = d (n - 1) + c., where d is the common difference among consecutive terms and c = a_{1}.

In other words, A **sequential form** in which the **terms are created with the addition or subtraction of a fixed number** is called an **arithmetic sequence**.
